UV-Buddy® is a small family run business based in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Gemma and James, the husband and wife team behind the business are very passionate about their summer holidays in the heat of the Nevada Desert and the sun drenched coast of Florida.

To keep the family business tradition we have recently acquired the superb talents of our niece Brittni as our production manager. Brittni is the key to UV-Buddy.com as she has a cool eye for design and is definitely more "down with the kids" than Gemma and James will ever be. We are looking forward to seeing the fresh new designs that Brittni has up her sleeves.

So why did we start UV-Buddy?

As you have probably seen yourself whilst on holiday, there are many people who underestimate the power of the sun, and end up looking like lobsters by the end of the day. We know only too well the dangers of prolonged exposure in the Sun, and the harmful effects that ultraviolet (UV) light can have on your skin. We decided to do something about it by starting to produce some UV-Buddy accessories that would help raise awareness.

Whilst we understand that everyone loves a bit of sunshine, we also understand how important it is to recognise the dangers of UV radiation. Our products can provide you with the guidance you need to stay safe in the sun. All of our product ranges feature state of the art colour changing beads which change colour when exposed to Ultraviolet light.
